My name is David. I am a Florida native and avid runner who is traveling the country. The first place I chose to come was Moab, UT. Since being in Moab, I have gone throughout both national parks (Arches and Canyonlands), Dead Horse State Park, the trails by slick rock, Faux Falls, and Kens lake. I have also camped at a wide variety of these places. However, of all the exploring I have done, one of my favorite places is Windows inside Arches National park. This is one of the only places in the park that you can walk into the giant arches they have through out the park. The giant stone structures will just engulf you with their beauty. My favorite time to be there though is when the sun is setting and you can see the red stone glow as the sun goes down. If you are heading out for a sunset though I would make sure that the sky is clear, so you are able to have the full experience! To get to Windows you have to drive to Arches National Park and drive about halfway through the park on the main road, take a right by the Garden of Eden and follow the road all the way down till it ends. It's only about a 25 minute drive from the hotel, but is worth every minute!
