Things to do in Moab | Hotel Staff Picks

Explore the best of Moab with our staff’s picks of their favorite things to do in Moab!

Cable Arch

Also known as the Funnel Arch trail, Cable Arch is a short hike that leads visitors to a large arched rock formation. While the trail is short, there is a bit of class 2 scrambling required but is completely manageable. Lesser known than the nearby Corona Arch, you likely not see too many people, which makes this one of our favorite things to do in Moab.

Cataract Canyon

Colorado River in Canyonlands National Park, Utah.

If you plan to visit Moab in the spring or summer you should add a raft trip to Cataract Canyon to your itinerary. Hire one of the many expert guide companies to escort you down the river for the adventure of your life. Spring tends to bring bigger and faster rapids due to high snowmelt, while summer months tend to be a bit calmer, but still as exhilarating.
